What to send

  • Echo: drainage site, vertical vein, any obstruction and its gradient, and the atrial communication
  • CT angiography where available
  • Saturations, ventilation status and current support
  • Age, weight and a one-paragraph clinical summary

  • Proposed timing
  • The hospital suited to the case
  • A named onward referral if the case falls outside this service
